Welcome to Regina

Welcome to Regina, the Queen's city and the second largest city in Saskatchewan. "I Love Regina" is not just a slogan, but an emotion that drives all Reginans. It represents the heart citizens wear on their sleeves everyday; sleeves rolled up in a constant and collective effort to make Regina the best it can be.
Today, I Love Regina is all around us, on the clothes people wear, in the windows of businesses, in school curriculum and permanently enshrined in front of City Hall.

Regina's Economy



Oil and natural gas, potash, kaolin, sodium sulphite and bentonite contribute a great part of Regina and area's economy. The development of the high-yielding and early-maturing Marquis strain of wheat and the opening of new grain markets in the United Kingdom established the first impetus for economic development and substantial population settlement.
